Sikhism
Sikhism is a new and unique religion of the world. It has been part of the history of the world religions since the fifteenth century.
Sikhism is nothing else but the Glowing Purest of the Pure Lives lived by our Great Gurus in this Darkest of the Dark Age of Kalyug.
Sikhism was founded by Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, (1469-1538). At Sultanpur, he received a vision to preach the way to enlightenment and God. He taught a strict monotheism, the brotherhood of humanity. He rejected idol worship, and the oppressive Hindu concept of caste.
Sikhism is a universal faith with a message of peace and prosperity for the whole world. It is a mountain of golden light. It is a religion of hope and optimism.
Sikhism preaches a message of love, devotion, truthful living, liberty, equality, fraternity and remembrance (Simran) of God at all times. The Sikh way of life is open to all.
